Why does my Kia Soul 2011 not start?
Kia Soul 2011The engine won’t start. The key fob battery is ok becasue it locks and everything lights up. The brake will not depress in order to start. Fuses look ok. The little car light with the key lights up immediately when trying to start. Today is Sunday–no service open til tomorrow and cannot drive my car! Help Submitted:9 years ago.

How do you start a Kia Soul car?
Engine Starting: Press the brake pedal and push the engine Start/Stop button to start the engine additionally if necessary to over-ride the brake switch hold the Start/Stop button in for 15 seconds and the engine will start. What does it mean when a Kia won’t start?
Just went to move my Kia out and it doesn’t start. It just goes click, click, click. Looked (frantically) at the manual and headlights are in the off position (didn’t leave them on), it’s in “park”, etc. Headlights don’t come on.

What to do if your Kia won’t start?
Call kia road side and see what they do for you and let us know please . If they do tell you to drive it (seriously doubt they will) only shut it off the 1st time at your dealer or a place that will jump or charge it for free like a orileys / auto zone / pep boys / sam’s club / costco , ect. that usually indicates a dead battery.
