Why does my Kia Forte sometimes not start?
Kia Forte sometimes will NOT start. NOT battery, NOT starter solenoid, all connections are good and it will start eventually after so many tries. HELP!!! I understand this is frustrating, and the solution may or may not be simple. I need to know what it does when you try to start it.
How do you reset a Kia battery after it is disconnected?
Connect the other end of the jumper wire to the positive terminal on the battery. Enter your Kia and place the key in the ignition, turning it as far as it will go without starting the engine. Push the lock button on your key fob for three seconds, until the lights on your dashboard blink.
What are the lights on a Kia Forte?
There are not lights from the alarm or truck buttons operated from the key. I get out and walk away for a few minutes, come back and try the key again , if the lights come on to unlock the car, it will start up. There are no warning lights and indicator lights indicating a problem. Has anyone had the same problem.

What’s the problem with my Kia Forte Battery?
After a few tries, the car will crank and start. Today it did it again a couple of times, but also has started fine probably 10 times. I tested the battery with my Harbor Freight battery tester and it appears to be OK.

Where can I get a new Kia Forte starter?
The place is Ace Armature in Pawtucket, RI and was highly recommended by a coworker. They’ve been around for over 50 years, so apparently they know what they are doing. It made no sense for me to try to DIY, since I couldn’t find a new starter for under $225.
