Where is the XM antenna on a Jeep Wrangler?
By the way, did XM reception improve once you relocated the satellite receiver? The XM (yes, after arguing with SiriusXM about this, the Jeep is XM-based) antenna is above the sound bar. The smaller one on the right in this photo (sorry, don’t know the original poster).
How to improve radio reception on a Jeep Wrangler?
Radio reception is dramatically improved now. Here is what I did: Used a nice thick vinyl duct tape to wrap all connections and any exposed metal from the stock antenna radio connector to the adapter cable and up to the radio Used aluminum foil tape (the thicker grade) and wrapped from the stock connector all the way up to the radio plug
Why is My Satellite Radio not working on my Jeep?
There has been no change. Awful reception for satellite radio too. UPDATE: Finally brought it in to dealer yesterday (was on vacation for a bit, then had to schedule it in between flu outbreaks at the dealer – yeesh!). They agreed something was wrong, but couldn’t fix it. Replacement unit on the way.
