What to do if you have a fuel leak on a Kodiak?
Put the float back in and put a clean hose on the fuel connection of the carb hold it up and blow into the fuel line and lift the float and see if it closes the air flow off. If so you should be good. Also double check the air fuel mixture screw unless the bike is running good and it’s just the fuel leak that’s the problem.

What did I do when my Kodiak started leaking fuel?
I hadn’t driven my Kodiak for a two months, and since it was low on fuel, the first thing I did was filled it up to maybe 7/8 full. Getting ready to start it, I rotated the fuel selector switch to “on” and within seconds I smelled and saw fuel dripping onto the floor. I quickly turned it off and the fuel gradually stopped – I can repeat this.

Is it normal for fuel to leak out of drain tubes?
Checked the oil and it appears normal, ie no sign of fuel in the oil as wld occur if it had leaked down past the rings. No flames from the exhaust either as it is well cold by now so ignition wld not occur there.
