It gets to about 2500 rpm then cuts power and the engine management light flashes on. when i wait about 10 seconds it fixes itself then the light goes out. it done this more often before i changed the air filter. i also tried cleaning the air flow meter with brake cleaner as recommended by a mechanic but didnt help.
