How is the fuel pump relay and idle solenoid activated?
The idle solenoid is activated by a 12-volt signal and allows additional air into the intake manifold to increase the idle RPMs. The main relay is activated by the ignition switch and provides power to all components in the EFI system. The fuel pump relay is activated by the EFI ECU when the engine is running.
Do you put baffles in a fuel injected bike?
It had V&H long shots, but no baffles. After research on this site I bought baffles and put them in. The bike runs cooler, gets better mileage, and a lot of the decel popping went away. It sounds better and is more quiet as well, but still a bit loud for my taste.
