What to do when your brake lever doesnt work?
A bit of thin wire from a wire brush will usually do. Also, the trick of lashing the brake lever works best when the reservoir is tilted so the connection of the brake line to the master cylinder is lower than the rest. Had similar problem with my goldwing about a year ago.
Why are my disc brakes not working on my bike?
Straddle your bike and, with the bike stationary, pull the brake lever. If the lever simply sinks to the handlebar, you’ve got air. If, however, you can feel the pads contact the rotor in the usual spot in your lever throw, you’re probably not dealing with air bubbles in the system. Instead, it’s probably your pads.

Why is there no pressure on the brake Leaver?
No pressure when pressing the brake leaver. Had to disconnect the line going into the master cylinder at the handlebars, cover the hole with my finger and then pump until I felt it working and a little fluid l came out. Then hook the lines back up and did a full bleed of the system.

Why are my disc brakes not working in my car?
If you have rear disc brakes, this procedure may not work because some makes and models have a separate emergency brake, which is connected not to the rear rotor and caliper, but to a special drum inside the rear rotors with a separate braking system. If you have this type of rear braking system, it is almost impossible to isolate the rear brakes.
