What is low voltage on fuel pump monitor?
A quick check found no fuel pressure and a code P0231 (low voltage on fuel pump monitor circuit). I decided to go to the interior fuse box, where my wiring diagrams, stated the fuel pump relay and fuse are located. There are a couple of covers that have to be removed. Pull the edge loose at the firewall end and pivot the cover back.
Why is there no power going to fuel pump?
There are a lot of things that need to be verified before replacing any other parts as this will eventually become very expensive. Many times, the battery has failed and the vehicle will not start or provide power; it could simply be worn out or there could be a parasitic draw or a weak alternator that is not properly charging.
How much voltage is needed at fuel pump?
No voltage when starting until ecm sees oil pressure, see above. Purple and black with white stripe are your fuel level sensor, gray and black are fuel pump. So this ‘needing oil pressure to pump fuel’ seems a bit suspicious to me. It drove home fine the other day after fixing a loose wire at the relay, but now it magically won’t start.
Where is the fuel pump output wire located?
The wiring diagrams stated that the fuel pump relay output wire was dark green/yellow and it was located in cavity 3 of connector C270K. I placed a jumper wire into the cavity to backprobe the circuit, no volts. Since my backprobe wire is part of a fused jumper wire, I connected battery voltage to the circuit and started the vehicle.
Is there no power to the fuel pump?
No power to the fuel pump and the fuel relay is not getti… Q: No power to the fuel pump and the fuel relay is not getting power. My car has 190000 miles.
Why is the fuel pump and relay not working?
The ignition circuit, which includes the ignition switch, controls power to many components, including the fuel pump and relay. If there is an issue with the switch or the circuit, perhaps a wiring problem, then power to the fuel system may be cut off.
Why is my fuel pump going so slow?
Slow crank, battery and connecters good. It is unlikely that an oil leak would have any impact on the slow cranking you describe. Generally, slow cranking is related to a weak battery or charging system. It sounds like you may have a weak battery, a failing…
Why does my Chevy Aveo5 have no power?
The doors move in a housing that has a tight fit. These doors… Many different faults can be attributed to your 2008 Chevrolet Aveo5’s loss of power. In cases where the Check Engine Light has not set a hard code, it can be a bit harder to pinpoint the issue.
