What does tt mean on Polaris Sportsman?

How do you test an ATV fan?
Locate the temp sensor on the rear cylinder head (driver side or CVT side of the bike). Unplug this sensor. Start the bike and let it idle for a few seconds. The “check engine” light will start to flash and your fan will kick on.

Where does the temp sensor go on a Polaris ATV?
The schematic also shows that the temp sensor goes to a box identified as voltage regulator fan hot lamp control and circuit breakers. Then there is a wire that goes from this box to your speedometer to control the hot light. I not sure what is in this box and Its getting late and I don’t have time to read it all tonight.
Why does my Polaris ATV keep flashing Hot?
So far, I replaced the all the gaskets in the top end of engine, the thermostat is removed, Brand New ECM, and tested the temp sensor (seems to be fine but don’t know what proper reading should be). The Rad is full of new fluid and burped. The rad is free of mud and debris ( and power tested it with leads from battery and works).

Tthe fan will run a lot in warm weather at low speeds or high speeds. The full mark on the coolant bottle reservoir is also down close to the bottom so it is easy to overfill. But if it is getting hot enough to shut down you have a problem the the dealer probably needs to check out.

Bought our 2018 Polaris Ranger 1000 last November, used it during hunting season in cold weather, ran fine. This summer when the temperatures warmed up, the rig began heating up and shutting off. Can hear the fan coming on and off. Been keeping an eye on the coolant level.

Why does my Polaris Ranger keep overheating?
If you pull over to stop, with engine running, it really heats up fast. It has blown out coolant several times. When it shuts off, it has to cool down before it will run again. Since it’s still under warranty, we will probably have to see if it’s anything the dealer can fix.
