Is there an alarm system on the Mercedes B250?
No alarm system is available for the 2015 B250. Unless you consider $200 door stickers to be an alarm system? Not sure what MB was thinking. I did some research for this message error and found this. It has nothing to do with the anti theft system in the car.

Ironic since there is no Anti-Theft Protection available for the 2015 B250. When I bought my car (Star Motors Ottawa) I asked the clueless MB sales guy about an alarm system. He said yeah, yeah no problem there’s a fee of $215 for this, which I paid.

It has nothing to do with the anti theft system in the car. When a COMAND unit is installed into a vehicle (whether during production or as a replacement) it is equipped with a PIN. This PIN will be associated to the VIN and relies on the communication network within the vehicle for validation.

Why does my car anti theft system not work?
Check the key. The key itself could be the culprit for the anti theft system car wont start. The keys have a built-in chip that sends a code to the alarm system when you insert it into the ignition. That chip won’t work in case of a broken or damaged key.
How to reset the anti theft system in a Ford?
1 Insert the key into the ignition and turn it on to the position where the accessories are activated but not the engine. 2 Leave the key in this position for at least 10 minutes. 3 Check the anti-theft light again. 4 Now try to start the engine. 5 Repeat the process at least a couple of times if it does not work the first time.
