Is it possible to reprogram a JAG FOB?

Our keys (S-Types like mine) can ONLY be reprogrammed by the dealer or someone who has the right kit and software. You may be able to buy it too but it’s not cheap. My nice local Jag dealer did it for half an hour labour, £66 including VAT and a full car wash & clean inside and out.
