What kind of fluid does a Toyota Tundra use?

They told me Toyota uses “world standard” fluid for the transmission and it is a lifetime fluid. Not recommended by Toyota to change. Ever. I really don’t think that’s a great plan, and the shop mentioned that Toyota dealerships will do a transmission fluid change (and most likely refill with a “globa”, non-lifetime fluid at a third the cost).

Its in the manual to drain and fill the transmission at 60k miles. subd… to follow up, 2008 maintenance manual says to service the transmission every 60k only if you tow regularly, but the local Toyota dealer poopoo’s even that suggestion and recommends 100k if you tow, and never if you don’t.
