How it works: You qualify for loot by doing as much damage as the threshold or more. Once you have reached the threshold, doing more damage makes no difference to you qualifying – you either do or you don’t.

From what I understand, soulbound (sb) damage threshold is the amount of damage needed to be dealt to the enemy in order to qualify for loot, and at times, qualify for a roll for the more rarer loot such as whites, st, etc.. Now, the actual rate of getting these items is another discussion in it and of itself.
How do you get eggs in Rotmg?
Drops. Almost any high-level enemy will drop Common eggs, relatively commonly, hence the name, and it seems to be that the harder an enemy is, the more likely it is to drop an egg. Uncommon eggs are dropped rarely by all bosses and Gods (or lesser gods).
