How does rear window defroster work on Jeep Wrangler?
Took mine to the dealer and they claimed that the glass did not need to be replaced. They “reattached it” to the glass. Not sure how they did it but I will have to confirm that it works. Unless they have an adhesive that conducts electricity and it heat resistant?? They said they had “the guy” that specializes in those repairs there that day.

JLUS rear window defroster came unsoldered already, 4 months 2600 miles, very little off road? Rear window raised maybe dozen times at most, seems like a short life solder!! Had it happen on my 2012 JKUS but at 50k and lots of off road!! Pain in the butt, dealer tried to re solder, crap job.

Part number: 04549275AB. The kit contains conductive epoxy – “air curable silver coating” which they will use to fasten that terminal back to the window. This kit can be used to quickly and easily repair rear glass heating grid lines, bus bars, terminals and pigtail wires. . 2018 2dr. Rubi
