Why does my key fob not work on my Jeep?

Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues and found a solid solution. My FOB seems to only work sporadically. Sometimes it works first try but most times I need to hit the button many times before any action happens. Most times I will stand there at the drivers door just hitting the button in hopes the door will unlock.

The only way around this for now is to get back in the vehicle, start the engine for 2 or 3 seconds then get out again and you should now be able to lock/unlock the vehicle with your remote key fob. I’ll keep this updated when they find a fix for this. So far, both my keys seem to be working.
