A power door lock switch is located on the driver’s and front passenger’s door panel. Press this switch to lock or unlock the doors and liftgate.
Why does my key fob not work on my Jeep?
Just wondering if anyone has had similar issues and found a solid solution. My FOB seems to only work sporadically. Sometimes it works first try but most times I need to hit the button many times before any action happens. Most times I will stand there at the drivers door just hitting the button in hopes the door will unlock.

Can a remote key fob unlock a car?
The only way around this for now is to get back in the vehicle, start the engine for 2 or 3 seconds then get out again and you should now be able to lock/unlock the vehicle with your remote key fob. I’ll keep this updated when they find a fix for this. So far, both my keys seem to be working.
What to do if your key fob is worn out?
Replace the cover and try the key fob remote on your car again. Check the contacts on the circuitry board for wear. If they are worn, renew the contacts by putting a small amount of condutivity paint on the surface. Allow this to dry, then replace the battery. Snap the cover on and give the key fob a try.
