Yes, he’s the guardian, and he’s not too bad. Enter the fight with full Light Beam ammo, but you’re probably gonna lose it all, that’s alright. Try to use it as best you can. Amorbis has two phases: First the burrowing in and out of the ground, and second latching onto the big orb in the middle.
What to do when amorbis breaks his faceplate?
When his faceplate breaks, he will flop on the ground and begin a suckage. You need to roll over to his mouth in Morph Ball mode to get sucked up, then lay all 3 of your ball bombs to wreck him. I believe some power-ups (health & missiles) will scatter on the field after this, so watch for those.
