Apply the epoxy mix to and around the marred area of the tapered threads. Wipe the drain hole threads. Re-install the tapered thread bolt with applied epoxy into the drain hole. Using a 7/8” wrench, turn clockwise until thoroughly tight. Let stand for 10 minutes. Fill oil.

I would suggest that the website (and DrainZit) list the thread PITCH for there adapters. Drain plugs are typically installed in sheet metal oil pans and thus use a fine thread. However, most 12 mm bolts have a 1.75 mm pitch (coarse) while my drain plug on the Duromax had 1.5 mm pitch.
