Use type F or Polaris specific oil in the hubs. 80w-90 in the front diff (if you don’t have hubs with oil in them then the Hilliard clutch is in the front diff and it takes the Polaris specific oil not 80w-90 mostly on 03 and newer) and if your transmission is like my 2000 magnum there is no dip stick.

The Polaris 500 has front rear end that does take the 80w90 gear oil. The rear transmission/drive is a multi task system that is composed of the rear drive and transmission. This takes Polaris AGL ( Atv Gearcase Lubricant) as Polaris likes to call it. It has AGL real big on the bottle and will set you back about $13 bucks a quart.
