Can you drive through the Daintree?
Vehicle users can be assured that a 4WD is not required to drive through the Daintree Rainforest, however the Bloomfield Track which begins at the northern side of the rainforest, is suitable only for 4WDs. The Bloomfield Track links Cape Tribulation and The Bloomfield River.
Can you get to Cape Tribulation without a 4WD?
The road is fully sealed all the way to Cape Trib Beach House – a 4WD vehicle is NOT required. Please adhere to road signs and speed limits as the area is home to a number of endangered species.

There is no entrance fee to visit Daintree National Park. However, in order to visit the national park, you have to cross the Daintree River. The only way across is via the Daintree River Ferry. The five minute Daintree ferry crossing cost AU$30 return, per vehicle.

Is Mossman Gorge worth?
Nice to get a glimpse of the rainforest from the safe protected paths of the Mossman Gorge reserve. The $9.50 for the bus trip was a small fee for the maintenance and upkeep of the area. The walk was easy enough for most people to handle.
