Are there controls on the left side of the steering wheel?
I am having the exact same problem in my 2007 Maxima with a slight difference. So, no controls on the left side steering wheel work (volume up down and blue tooth/seek), but all controls on the right side do (cruise).
What do you do when your steering wheel stops working?
The mute and seek buttons quit working but the power and volume buttons worked for about another week and now none of them work. All the cruise control buttons and rockers still work perfectly. I don’t know enough about wiring to know where to start looking.
