Is Cranbrook open to the public?
Cranbrook House is only open to the public during scheduled guided tours and other special events. We are pleased to share that Cranbrook House has reopened to the public for tours on weekends. Please visit our Events page to view our current tour schedule.
Can you take photos at Cranbrook Gardens?
Photography Policy We encourage guests to take pictures of the gardens during their visit. Cranbrook House & Gardens exterior areas are open to the public to tour and take photographs with a personal camera – during operating hours with admission.
Where do you park at Cranbrook Gardens?
Parking is complimentary at Cranbrook. Please park in our main lot located just within our entrance gates. Additional free parking is available on Lone Pine Road. Bus drop off is located on the drive north of the parking lot.
Can I walk around Cranbrook?
Cranbrook House and Gardens are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. seven days a week. It is free to visit and walk around through October 31st. You can park (for free courtesy of PNC Bank, All Seasons Independent Living, fleurdetroit, and Roberts Restaurant Group) or chain up your bike at the entrance and then explore.

How did Cranbrook get its name?
Cranbrook was probably named for a town near the farm home in Kent, England, of one of the settlers, Colonel James Baker. The Canadian Pacific Railroad’s Crowsnest branchline reached the site in 1898.
