Is there a problem with the Kia Optima exhaust?
The problem exists, and if Kia doesn’t make an effort to correct it, someone is going to get killed when they pull onto a busy highway, expecting the car to accelerate properly, only to have it choke, and along comes a tractor trailer that cannot stop and boom-they’re dead. I hope it isn’t me.

This seems to be a common problem with Kia and they should have to address this and fix this at a reduced cost because it will happen to most of these vehicles. It’s not happening every time, but when it does the Kia is accelerating with a delay or it seems like it stutters before accelerating.

The check engine light came on at around 85000 miles still under warranty took in for new O2 sensor. The check engine light came back on just after 100,000 miles and its been on ever since, sooner or later its gotta burn out right? still waiting for that but she runs like the day I bought it.

Can a Kia Optima accelerate past 1900rpm?
Car will not accelerate past 1900rpm. Goes about 20mph and 5 mph uphill. it does this intermittently. Not fixed yet
