Why does my Toyota Sienna not open in cold weather?
The rear power door hatch wont stay open in cold weather, it will open and then immediately start to close causing several heads to be hit. This happens everytime it is cold. Also now my remote and the interior button wont open the door at all, it has to be done manually.

Hi! One of ours 2007 siennas canot open the back door. If you open it from inside handle (the only way)and then closes it it will close but then you canot open it again. Could it be water in the doorhandle switch or were do we start,the dealer have change the lock but no difference,do you need to restart the ecm after changing the lock?

I have a 2004 Sienna that is still under the extended warranty. The power rear hatch does not always down automatically. It starts to come down half way and then it goes back up again as if something is interfering with the door. The struts were replaced as part of the recall. The problem shows up more after the van is sitting outside in the sun.

The rear lift door of the 2009 Sienna has the power lift. I hit the fob to open the door to load items into the back of the van. It opened normally and my wife and I leaned into the van to put items in. As the door reached the top, it suddenly started closing while we were standing under it.

The rear lift gate is not staying in place when lifted, it falls about 10 inches and then the automatic door close engages. If you turn off the automatic door, then it slams shut. The struts were already replaced once under the first recall.
