Why are the headlights on my Pontiac G6 not working?
Our headlights would work fine and then go out. If we banged on them they would come back on until evenutally that would no longer work. We found out that when they made the 2007 pontiac g6, they did not leave enough space between the wires. The wires would get hot and eventually burn short out.

What can cause a low beam headlight to be dim?
If it is, use a voltmeter to see how much power, if any, is reaching the headlights. If there is no power reaching them, there is a break in the wiring somewhere between the fuse panel and the headlights themselves. Thanks! What can cause the light to be dim except when on the high beam setting?

Where are the headlamp assembly located under the hood?
Open the hood and turn on the low-beam headlights. You will notice that the headlights shine at the wall, and you can determine if they are aligned by where they fall in relation to the tape that you put down in step 3. Find the vertical headlamp aiming screws. They are located on top of each of the headlamp assemblies, under the hood.
What’s the best way to Park a G6?
Park the vehicle on a level surface, 25 feet from a flat wall. Make sure the vehicle is parked perpendicular to the wall, and that the G6 is approximately the same weight as when it is operating– that is, make sure it’s not loaded down in the trunk with extra weight, or over the car with snow or mud.
