Click to expand… If you really want this done, if i were you put a GM opti for the mean time. Then collect all the necesassy things you might need one at the time so it wont hurt you wallet. I think im just going to replace the opti.

When to replace the cap on an Optispark?

The original cap i replaced when the water pump went, then the 2nd cap went when the coil lead burned through the front of it, 3rd was the accel cap that was bad out of the box, now i think the accel optispark has gone bad after about 100 miles.
