Where is stereo mix in Sound Control Panel?
I used to be able to select Stereo Mix under the Recording tab in the Sound control panel but it’s no longer there. I checked to be sure all devices, including disabled ones, are displayed, but that wasn’t the problem.

What do I do if my stereo mix is disabled?
Navigate to the Recording tab of the Sound window which just opened up. Stereo Mix showing up as disabled. Right-click anywhere in the middle of the window and check the boxes next to the Show Disabled Devices and Show Disconnected Devices options. Stereo Mix should now appear.
