Click to expand… If you pull the seat, the fuel pump mounts to the frame for the seat on the front . The hose comes from the tank to the pump then the inline filter then to the driver side to the carb. It is a black hose that is about 1/4 inch I.D. The fuel pump will have two wires to it.

What does it mean when fuel pump is not moving?
Just keep in mind, that is a long way to suck and then pump fuel back to the carb. If the fuel pump works correctly, the incoming fuel will cool it. If it is running hot, that means it is not moving fuel through itself. If you read my first post on this topic, you will see that the fuel pump not moving fluid will run hot.
