I have a 2013 Ford Explorer XLT all wheel drive that needs the alternator replaced. I had the alt tested at two places (advance auto and mechanics shop) and both said it was failing. The “check charging system” message flashes periodically on the dash, seems that after it runs for 15-20 mins the message does not return.
