When does the vibration in the steering wheel go away?
Once you have determined when the vibration occurs, try and replicate it and make a mental note of specifically when it starts and when it goes away. In some cases, it may be progressive. What should I do if my steering wheel is shaking?
Start by jacking up the front end of your car so both front wheels are off the ground. Next, get a hold of your wheel at two positions across the diameter of the wheel and give it a good shake. The wheel should not move.
