What should I do if my Nissan Murano liftgate stops working?
Rear hatch stopped working. Disconnected battery, cleaned terminals, waited 10 minutes, reconnected battery and all is fine. I own a shop but MOST are ripoffs. Would have been minimum $500.00 for Nissan to “fix” this. 6 people found this helpful.

How do you open the lift gate on a Nissan Murano?
Step 1 Grab your key and approach the Nissan Murano’s driver-side door. Insert the key into the key cylinder on the driver-side door handle. Turn the key to the right (toward the lift gate) twice quickly. This manually unlocks the liftgate.
