What is a Unistrut system?
Unistrut is the original metal framing system featuring a unique weldless connection. The Unistrut system eliminates welding and drilling, and is easily adjustable and reusable, for infinite configurations.
What are channel nuts used for?
Strut channel nuts are used to place and secure fittings, electrical panels, junction boxes, or piping clamps within channels or conduits. They consist of a nut with grooves on the side that fit over side of the channel edge and a screw hole.

How big of a Splice do you need for Unistrut?
If you need a 20-foot section of strut, you’ll get best results from a continuous section of the channel. If you need an 8-foot section, common sense tells us that we should remove 2 feet from a 10-foot piece of strut . That said, there are always situations where you’ll be tempted to use a splice.
Why are Unistrut flat plate fittings called splice plates?
You may have heard Unistrut flat plate fittings referred to as ‘Splice Plates’. That is because their primary use is to join – or splice – channel sections together. Flat plate fittings are sheared from 1/4″ thick plate steel and punched with 9/16″ holes.
Can You splice Unistrut P1000 with P1001 channel?
