What happens when you shut off the engine on a Toyota Prius?
The car starts as normal and drives normally but once you start to come to a stop the car shuts off and will only restart when you depress the gas pedal but shuts down again when you release the gas pedal, normal city streets and highway.

Why are the dash lights not working on my 2005 Prius?
2005 Prius. No dash lights, speedo, won’t shut off. This has been going on for about two years here and there. How it started was that the dash lights all came on and stayed on. We had them shut off twice at the dealer, only to come back on within a couple days. Then it would not shut off randomly as well.
