After learning the truth of the game, Neku had a standoff with Joshua to determine the fate of Shibuya. Despite wanting to save Shibuya, Neku couldn’t bring himself to kill Joshua. Joshua, on the other hand, nonchalantly shoots Neku, sealing his fate.
Is NEKU dead Twewy?
Neku’s bleeding corpse after being murdered by Joshua. On the day of his death, Neku went to admire his favorite spot in Shibuya, the CAT mural in Udagawa. After fending Minamimoto off, Joshua kills Neku with a gun, entering him in the Reapers’ Game, giving him an additional Player Pin.

Yoshiya Kiryu (桐生 義弥, Kiryū Yoshiya), nicknamed Joshua (ヨシュア, Yoshua), is Neku Sakuraba’s second partner in the Reapers’ Game during its second week. He is a major character in The World Ends with You and has a small role in NEO: The World Ends with You.

Why did Joshua destroy Shibuya?
Neku Sakuraba Neku Sakuraba. Joshua selected Neku to be his Proxy in the month-long game between himself and his Conductor, Kitaniji. His goal was to Erase Shibuya’s UG, which he viewed as infected and incapable of growth and change, while Kitaniji aimed to prove it was worthy of saving.
Does Rindo like Shoka?
It is possible that Shoka may also have a crush on Rindo, based on her frequently blushing around him. Once reunited in the RG, they play FanGo together again, with Shoka commenting that the two are real friends now that Rindo has accepted her friend request.
