What causes coolant to blow out of expansion bottle?
Looks like gases enter the jacket under load, accumulate and then rush up to expansion bottled causing it to overflow – overflow pipe is tiny and most of coolant is blow out through the cap threads and sprays around under the bonnet.
Why is my radiator pushing coolant into the overflow tank?
My radiator seems to be pushing the coolant into the overflow tank. When I am done driving and i take off the radiator cap the radiator is low, no coolant above the fins. but the over flow tank is full and it pushes coolant out the top hose on the over flow tank. I can see the coolant dripping down the fender well.???????
