I had a serious transmission problem with my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. It was caused by radiator coolant leaking into the transmission. The dealer replaced the transmission at no cost. They did this because Nissan had previously settled a class action lawsuit brought against it by agreeing to do this.

The rear (3rd row) ventilation system is AC only and refrigerant lines do run back there to an evaporator. There is no heat back there, all heat to the 3rd row is delivered through the floor vents located under the 2nd row seats.
