Is the central heating only working intermittently but hot?
Over the last few days the central heating has only been working intermitently and I’d like to see if the issue can be identified (and repaired ecconomically if possible). The hot water appears to be unaffected by this problem as the boiler responds immediately when the hot water is switched on via the timer box.
What happens when you turn off the aircon on a water heater?
When you turn the AirCon on, the module shuts off the flow of water to the heater. When you turn the AirCon off, the module opens the flow of water to the heater. A mis-behaving module would give you the heater performance you are experiencing. A system scan of the AirCon should highlight the fault.
Why is my temp control panel not working?
Sometimes you can hit it lucky to where your A/C works when you want it to. But you can count on hot hot air if the heater was working prior to switching to A/C. Additionally the back lights for the temp control panel will not light up right half of panel until you tap on the face then it lights up. D.Felser
Why does my air conditioner keep getting hot?
If the matrix pipes are only warm it cant supply hot air so the system is staying too cool probably cos the stat is failing or sticking sometimes.Blocked matrix would be constant but the intake pipe would still get hot .I would change the stat first.Does it get to 90 quickly and stay there? If not that points to the stat Thanks Mike.
What causes an air lock in a hot water heater?
Air lock: An air lock is a large air bubble that forms in your cooling system as the result of a coolant leak or a recent coolant top-up. An air lock prevents the coolant from circulating properly and can cut your heat output. Solution: Set the heater to its maximum setting, remove the coolant tank cap and fill it to the proper level.

Why is my hot water heater blowing cold air?
Heater core exterior: The heat-radiating fins on the outside of your heater core could also be clogged with debris that makes its way in from the outside air intake at the base of the windshield. This can affect the heater’s output.
What to do if your heater is blowing cold air?
Coolant level: If your coolant level is low, your heater core may not be getting enough warmed coolant through it to produce adequate heat. Solution: Top up the coolant and see if it helps. If the level is low due to a leak, track down the source and get it repaired.
