Is the AC on driver side or passenger side?

Why does AC blow cold air on one side only?
If both sides are blowing air at roughly the same temperature when the AC is off, then the earlier results (i.e., equal heating left and right) and this suggest the problem is not the temperature blend door or the heater core.
