Is DxO any good?
In my tests, its results were impressive in sharpening photos, though it’s not something you’d want to use for face shots or noisy images. Speaking of sharpness, DxO’s Lens Sharpness tool impresses. Based on particular lens profiles for the equipment used, the tool can noticeably improve the detail in your shots.
Is PhotoLab better than Lightroom?

Does Nik collection work with DxO PhotoLab 3?
Note that the Nik Collection was designed to complement the Adobe products. It has never been integrated with the DxO products, other than by file export. DxO built the U-point technology into PhotoLab (that was what changed it from DxO Optics Pro), and that is fully integrated. But the rest of the collection is not.
