What to do if your Mercedes heater blower is not working?
My blower motor was fixed in with 3 posidrive screws. Had to use a stubby screwdriver on one of them too due to a serious lack of room. Check first before just pulling it out Rooty.

Have you read the codes with a scanner? if so what are they. 1 x 190e, 2 x vito cdi 110 many spares…. still the vito wont start…..
I did notice the glow plug light (when ignition is on) only comes on for less than 2secs, goes out, engine starts, light comes back on for about 1min. BUT the other night the engine failed to start (and unfortunately had to get it towed to a friend’s place nearby).

Why does my Vito car not start up?
If it starts with a Sniff of Easy, Then its likely to be your High pressure fuel pump. Really you need it plugging into STAR to see the Live data of the fuel rail pressure, it needs to be 225+psi to start up! Also this would show if it was camshaft/crankshaft syncronization fault.

First please test you battery with your multimeter. You need at least 12.5 volts with the car off and 13 volts plus when running. If this is not the case take care of the battery and alternator problem before going any further. The glow plugs like a lot of juice, and often wont work right if the voltage is low.
