What happens when you remove inner fairing on Harley Davidson?
Put the middle screw back in place loosely. This will keep your outer fairing from falling on your fender when you remove the four inner screws (next step) and preventing damage to either the fairing or fender. (Figure 1) Remove two T-27 screws from each side of inner fairing (one silver and one black each side).
How do you remove the front fairing on a Honda Accord?
Remove the left saddlebag and side cover, then pull out Maxi Fuse. Remove three T-27 screws from front fairing and pull out windshield. Put the middle screw back in place loosely. What should I do if my inner fairing has broken?
Replace them upon reassembly if they have broken. Now is the time to take a few photos and begin labeling anything unfamiliar inside the Harley inner fairing. Then remove the ignition switch knob and lower bezel. Unplug the radio harness and antenna. Cables and gauges will be next.
Do you need to remove fuel tank to remove inner fairing?
Disassembly is easier with the fuel tank removed. However, removing the fuel tank is not completely necessary to remove the Harley inner fairing. Check for correct function of all electrical before starting, including all gauge lighting, indicator lights/bulbs, radio functions and all left and right side switch functions.
