How to apply Tuff II?
– Using a trowel, large putty knife or drywall blade, apply a thin skim coat of TUFF II to the entire area. You want this coat about 1/16” thick, so the mesh pattern is barely visible through the coating. Let this coat dry for at least two hours, until it can take light thumb pressure. – Next apply the texture coat.
