What to do about cdi diesel fuel bleeding?
Steve. cdi diesel fuel bleeding. Hi what you need to do is purge (or bleed ) THE AIR OUT OF THE SYSTEM. There is no way you will get the engine going without bleeding the fuel lines. THE Best way is to use a hand pump in line with the return fuel pipe. That is the pipe from rear end of fuel common rail to the fuel return cooler.
Where is the fuel outlet on a C220 CDI?
Fuel outlet on LH tank unit goes to by hose to pick up on RH tank and then there is another pipe from top of RH pick up leading to LH pick up. No visual sign of electric pump. All I can see are two sender units which seem to be linked together. Thanks steve or anyone else who may help me.
How often should I Change my CDI fuel filter?
The 26k is meant to be every other oil change (B service). I have currently gone much longer than that with the ’05 CDI (close to 50k). All three diesels at my home take the same fuel filter and I have couple spares on hand just in case. Drive more, worry less.
