How many miles does a Harley Davidson Road King have?
Last year I bought a Road King that was 3 years old (2011) but only had 18K miles. I thought that was very low miles and that bike looked and ran good – I bought it. Just me speaking here now – I am NOT retired yet, work everyday and actually do not put a ton of miles on either bike.

How does the King compare to this one in your experience. Pros and cons etc. The biggest differences in the ’01 & the newer models is the stiffer, larger swingarm/axle, the addition of a cartridge in the front forks/ no air adjustment, & the Delphi FI system was new for ’02 (but yours is carbed, so it doesn’t matter).

This happened on my 07 street bob. Its likely a loose connection to the neutral sensor. Also the bike would have started with the clutch pulled in, did for mine. No need to pull the batt. The 07 RK’s had bad neutral switches also. I replaced 3 of them.

While riding it feels like ignition is momentarily shut off and the bike bucks, continues to run, just an annoyance. Rode and additional 25 miles home, shut bike off, added fuel injector cleaner. Next day, went on a 200 mile ride. First 75 miles, all was well then the cut out condition returned.
