How long does it take for zMAX to work?
With a 12-oz bottle, zMax states that it takes about 1,000 miles or 30-hours to “fully soak into the metal,” or return to a normal fluid level. It is all based on heat cycles.

Will zMAX hurt my engine?
Obviously not the first time I have used this product. Additives designed to correct buildup to bad oil and fuel buildup that actually work tend to be very bad for your oil and fuel system, this product will never harm your system, does not treat your fuel or oil, it only dissolves and atomizes particles.
Is zMAX a mineral oil?

Does zMAX have zinc in it?
