It has poor fuel cnsumption for an engine that isnt really putting down great power figures. 6l diesel would be interesting, but a NA 6L petrol would want to be throwing out close to 300kw. Mine is working with no issues at all, but one thing that does supprise me is how hot they run.

If anything, i think the current zd30 is underdone and they could make it much better by improving exhaust flow and a intercooler that actually works – that intercooler is next to useless i have never been able to touch the end tanks as they are ALWAYS red hot. The engine to me feels ‘sufficated’.

Some breakages from younger hotheads are expected, but when mum and dad are cruising and the engine fails out back of Woop Woop that is something else, a hell of a lot of inconvenience and a busted bank balance.
