Medicare Part B does cover a variety of medical equipment (provided it is prescribed by a licensed physician and falls under the category of “durable medical equipment”). As long as you, your prescribing doctor, and the DME supplier are all enrolled, bath lifts are covered by Medicare.
How do you charge a bath lift?
Connect the battery hand control cable to the charger. Insert the charger plug into the mains. Please leave your battery hand control to charge for approximately 12 hours when you first receive your Bathlift. This will provide approximately 15 lifts, up and down (at 80kg) on your bathlift.
