How does the Homelink work on Gentex mirror?
The HomeLink buttons work to open my community’s gate (DoorKing if anyone is searching for that) from a pretty good distance. The only thing I would change is the HomeLink buttons need a raised dot or need to be set back slightly from the bezel, or maybe even be backlit as you CANNOT tell where they are in the dark.

What do I need for a home dimmer and compass?
The wiring is a bit more tricky, you basically need 1) an always on battery wire to run the Homelink, 2) one that turns on with the ACC or On switch to run the compass/auto dimmer, and 3) ground.
