How often should you change oil on a Yamaha?

Why does my Yamaha FJ 1100 run well when hot?
If there is any problem this is due to the needle height. If the problem is worst when hot then the mixture is too rich. If the bike runs well when hot but there is problems between 4.000 – 7.000 rpm, the mixture is lean.
What should the pilot screws be on a Yamaha FJ 1200?
TIP: pilot screws setting is 2 turns out from fully in, recommended from FJ 1100 to FJ 1200 1990. Workshop manual change the settings to 3 turns out in the last FJ (1991 on). Try 3 turn out in outer cylinders and 3 1/4 at the inner cylinders in whatever would be yours, like a starting point to perform the mixture screws procedure set up.
