Why is water leaking from the passenger side of my Nissan?
There are a number of reasons for this: obstructed drain hose, iced up drain hose, 3. Rain water leak. I think #2 is the most likely, but #1 is the immediate concern as it will lead to major engine damage in short order. #2 can be eliminated by not running the AC for a few days. Keep the windows down a crack and park in the sun.

The drain hose is on the passenger side right next to your oil filter. YOu can access it by simply turning your wheels to the far right leaving a gap there so that you can stick your hand there. It will be kind of difficult to find if you never seene it. It’s a black hose. They will get clogged with stuff (dirt, lint etc..).

It’s caused by bacteria buildup on the AC evaporator coil located in the heater box under your dash. Bacteria from airflow combines with condensation from the AC coil to produce a mildew/mold smell and the formation of a slime on the AC fins.

Where does the oil leak come from on a Nissan?
I have an oil leak that I can’t seem to figure out. It is without a doubt coming from the passenger side of the car. If you are facing the car the leak is coming from somewhere around the 2 o’clock position and is about 6 to 10 inches in.

Pull the cooler towards you and replace the seal on the backside making sure the o-ring is inside the inner lip. The other kind is a square pancake cooler that sits midway up the back of most newer 4 cyl’s. Simply remove the bolts, replace the metal gasket and reinstall. Best of luck.
