Are there any problems with the 2017 Volvo XC90?

I ordered and had delivered in December a new 2017 XC90 T8. Problems started almost immediately. Check engine light came on and cleared several times. The navigation system quit. It lost its satellite signal ( lost it in Dallas and it still thought I was driving through Dallas when I was actually in Tucson).

How many miles does a D5 exec XC90 have?

First post, so here goes! I have a 61 plate D5 Exec XC90. With 23,000 miles. First 3 services were carried out at Volvo main dealership. I recently moved to the IOW and as there is no Volvo dealer went to an independent for its 4th service.

What does the engine system service required message mean?

I usually do all my own work. Message “Engine System Service Required” is always on with red triangle light. No other warning lights are on. No codes come up on the OBD-2 code reader. All fluids are full. Engine seems to be running fine. Throttle is a little bit jerky when starting off from rest, but normal at all other speeds.

How to turn off engine system service required?

You can make it turn off by pressing the button on the left stalk but if you press it again, it will say “you have 2 messages”. Press again and it will say, “Engine System Service Required”. The second message is about servicing the airbag system. Anyway, the message is always there waiting if you press the button to view it.
